Low maintenanceThe housing of the Titan switches is designed to resist the dust build-up that typically affects keyboards that are used often. Together with the shortened key caps, the Vulcan is easy to clean. |
Pure performanceThe debounced switch, tactile-feeling 1.8mm actuation point and solid switch housing to prevent wobble combine perfectly with the Vulcan’s overall durability. The result is a keyboard built for performance. |

TL;DR: seems like a sturdy keyboard, easy to clean, preloaded color schemes should the software fail (in theory), has some neat features so long as the software is working, and German Engineering meme right on the box.
the keys have a somewhat loud click to them with each press, so depending on the user that's either a pro or a con, to me it's neutral, kinda fun when typing in discord to hear the clickity-clack but also makes me feel a little conscious when I see my mic lighting up because it's picking up those clicks. the default profile colors aren't bad either, it's the major reason I picked this keyboard out of all the ones on sale during Prime Day.
So far, the software is working as intended too which is awesome, the patterns one can make are enough for most and it's fun that the software can be programmed to use different color layouts for different games, wanna use 1980s pinks and blues while flying an F-14 Tomcat in War Thunder? Done. and once you close the game, it'll switch back to your desktop color before switching again while Destiny 2 boots up.
I've gone through several keyboards not because the hardware failed me, but because their software failed and left me locked in with rainbow waves or other less-than-ideal patterns that wore thin fast. with this one having 4 preloaded patterns I'm hoping that won't be an issue should the software fail.
also, I like that the note leans into the manufacturer's german heritage by thanking the buyer in german, and even on the box they proudly boast about the German Engineering.
finally, the AIMO rainbow-breathing-button-pressing pattern is quite fun to watch and use.
Most RGB keyboards have letters missing because I've removed the paint/coating by now.
Love how easy it is to clean (flip, tap, compressed air) the lights still look good and do not flicker, everything is like new. I will be sad the day it needs replaced, unless ROCCAT has a new version!
Biggest down to this keyboard (which I don't mind, rather like) but it terrible for recording, streaming, phone calls, chatting etc. - The keys are loud.
I play a lot Rainbow Six Siege so I went there to test it out. I had to adjust a bit because the keys are quite more elevated and spaced out from my previous keyboard which makes it look sleek and also easier to clean.
The Roccat Software is also good, I like it better than iCue.
Overall, I really love this keyboard and have zero regrets. If you want a great mechanical keyboard which looks and feels amazing then I suggest you get this.
Update: 3/21/22
After almost 2 years, it's still going strong. No other keyboards on the market so far have convinced me change it up and I still love how it looks and feels.

After almost 2 years, it's still going strong. No other keyboards on the market so far have convinced me change it up and I still love how it looks and feels.
Pros
- Super responsive in terms to click to register time.
- Gorgeous lighting. AIMO intelligent lighting is pretty sweet.
- Solid construction. Seems very well made.
- Giant volume dial with some additional customization buttons nearby is a lot handier than I initially thought.
- SWARM software presents a lot of customization (including macros).
- Easy to clean.
- Makes your hands feel like they just had a massage when you type.
- Did I mention how gorgeous this thing is?
Cons
- SWARM software seems to occasionally have an issue with FFXIV and you have to quit it or you will miss keystrokes.
Long Version:
I got this just to try mixing up my brands. I've been using Razer keyboards for the last 10 or so years and decided it was time to give another company a chance. After doing a little digging around I saw this was a top rated keyboard and was recently released as a product. The company seemed to have overall good reviews as well.
First off the keyboard is very sleek looking. Good customization in the software for lighting (not as good as Razer but good enough). I really like the intelligent lighting patterns and the overall brightness. This keyboard gets very bright.
The press-to-response rate is incredible. The first few weeks felt incredible while my fingers got used to this thing. Typing is a dream on this thing which I do a lot of besides gaming. Gaming response is good and noticeably better than Razer's Cherry MX Orange and Green keys.
The SWARM software overall is very feature-rich. Can customize any key and make macros like most competitors. The volume knob is surprisingly awesome to use. I didn't think much about this at first but I realized I now use it all the time. You can also adjust a few of the nearby buttons to perform other system tasks such as adjusting the lighting level of the keyboard.
My only complain so far is that the SWARM software seems to have hiccups with Final Fantasy 14. Every once in a while it will miss inputs until you force close out the software. It seems to be a crash inside it with just this game. I found a few other people who also reported this issue as well. Haven't had it happen with any other games or general typing yet. Closing the software before playing Final Fantasy seems to also work just fine but you lose any custom lighting effects since it seems to be software controlled and not stored on the board (another minor complaint if you were to pick up your keyboard and take it somewhere).
Overall I would recommend it just beware of the little issue with FFXIV. If you don't play that game then you will 100% love this keyboard at all times.

I did just leave the lighting setting to just use standard Intelligent Lighting mode - as all other modes I get too distracted with production work.
But for gaming - its a really nice touch of immersion on the desk :)
Button clicking on the mechanical keys are awesome as well - but the "space bar" is a bit week so watch out for that.
